How the school day went, told in pictograms.
The teacher says how the day went, Puente lays it out in pictograms and the family sees it at home. The child can use the pictures to tell their day, and the family knows what happened.
Join the pilotIt uses test data, and what you enter stays in your browser. The demo and the signed-in areas are in Spanish for now.
Teachers and schools
For special education schools: children with autism, intellectual disability or communication needs. Teachers and school leaders record the day in seconds and it is saved automatically.
How it works
1The teacher dictates the daySpoken or typed, in about 20 seconds.
2It becomes pictogramsEach activity in order, with a picture you can tap and hear.
3The family sees it at homeThey sign in with their email and see the day, what went well and what is coming up.
Families
The family sees how the child's day went, in pictograms, and can ask about it.
A sample day
Tap a picture to hear it. (Made-up example.)

Puente does not charge schools or families. It is careful with children's data: first name only, no photos or diagnoses, and the family gives consent.
Communicator
Talk by tapping pictures
Tap the pictograms to build a sentence, and the board says it out loud. It works without internet and nothing leaves your device. Anyone can use it, no need to be in the pilot.
The Android app is not on Google Play yet. For now it installs from the APK file.
Get involved with Puente
The pilot is by invitation and has 15 places, open to teachers, school leaders, therapists and families alike, wherever you are. Tell us who you are and we will email you.
You can only join with an invitation link: the school's leadership invites teachers, and teachers invite families.

Thank you. We will email you.

Already in the pilot? Get the Puente app for Android (APK, not on Google Play yet).
Test the Android app
We are about to open a closed test on Google Play. For that we need 12 people with Android phones who keep the app installed for 14 days in a row. If you are up for it, email us.
All we need is the email of the Google account you use on Play, to add you to the testers list.
Help keep it going
Puente is free and non-profit. Donations pay for the servers and the AI. Families are never charged.
Do you write code? Puente is open source (AGPL-3.0) and the code is on GitHub.
I'm Danny Vergel, from Rosario, Argentina. I work in tech, and I built Puente because I want to help: to give something back with what I know how to do, and with what AI now lets me do. As the Spanish saying goes, «el que no vive para servir, no sirve para vivir»: if you don't live to serve, you're not fit to live.
