Add pictures from ARASAAC
Type a word and tap the picture you want to add it to Favorites. What you type goes to ARASAAC (Government of Aragón) to find the pictures, not to Puente.
Settings
If you turn off «Build a sentence», each picture is just spoken and is not added at the top.
Used in the Home tab. If the speaker does not answer, turn up this device's volume or wait a little longer.
Settings and favorites, including the pictures you added with the search, are saved only on this device (in the browser's storage) and only if you change something. They are never sent anywhere.
A communication board for everyone, no account needed
The child taps the pictures, builds a sentence, and the phone, tablet or computer says it out loud. It is an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) board with a starter vocabulary: core words, feelings, needs, people, places, actions, play, food, body and clothes.
- Your own pictures: tap «Choose favorites» and use the search to add any ARASAAC pictogram to Favorites, with the word you choose.
- Private: settings and favorites stay on this device. Nothing is sent to Puente or to any AI, there is no tracking and no account is needed. The pictures load from ARASAAC (Government of Aragón), and only when you use the search, the word you type goes to ARASAAC to find the pictures.
- Works offline: after you open it once with internet, the board is saved and works without a connection. The pictures you add with the search are saved too. The search needs internet.
- The voice is the device's own. If it has no English voice, the sentence is still shown in writing.
- Home board: in the Home tab, each picture says a command out loud for Alexa, Google or Siri. That way the child can use the smart speaker without speaking.
- Tip: use it in full screen or add it to the home screen so it does not close by accident.
