Terms of use
1. The service
Puente is a free, non-profit tool for communication between special education schools and families, currently in testing (BETA). It is provided «as is»: it may have errors, changes or interruptions. It does not replace direct communication with the school or the school's official communication notebook.
2. Who can use it
Teachers and school leaders authorised by their school, and the families or guardians the school links by email. Each account is personal: do not share the code you receive by email.
3. Responsible use
- Enter only students' first names, without surnames, photos, diagnoses or health details that are not needed.
- Enter family contacts only with their consent.
- Teachers agree to keep what they see in Puente confidential.
- Do not use Puente for any purpose other than school–family communication and educational follow-up.
4. Artificial intelligence
Puente uses AI to put the account of the day in order, suggest strategies and answer the family's questions about what was recorded. AI can make mistakes: the teacher reviews and decides, and the AI does not give diagnoses or medical advice.

6. Personal data
How data is processed is explained in the privacy policy.
7. Leaving Puente
The school can remove a student or a family, and the family can ask to leave from their own space. When that happens, data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
